2023: SILENT NIGHT
(A FORTHCOMING HOMEMADE NEIGHBOR JAM)
You’re invited to contribute on this neighbor jam (song recording), get credit, and give the completed recording as your own homemade holiday gift! No experience required.
Schedule
Early Summer 2023 we’ll pick a song, create the concept, recruit a rhythm section and a composer, lay down initial tracks.
Late Summer 2023 recruit many vocalists and start laying down vocal tracks and other instrument tracks (violin, pedal steel, accordion). Anyone can find a role. No experience needed.
Fall 2023 finish recordings, commission an artwork for the cover art, mix, master and post the song on this website for distribution.
Thanksgiving 2023 the homemade neighbor jam is ready with your name on it to share as your own homemade holiday gift in a Christmas card (via QR code to where it will be posted on this site) or wrap it up as a gift. (see example from 2020 below).
